These days, Cubans celebrate the 51st anniversary of the revolution. Their Vietnamese brothers joined the celebration. The ceremony in the capital of Vietnam Hania was attended by high -ranking government and statesmen of both countries. Simultaneously with the celebration of the anniversary of the revolution, the 15th anniversary of the founding of a joint Cuban-WietTsa construction enterprise was celebrated, which was created by experts of Cuba and Vietnam. The contribution of Cuban experts to the construction and development of the Asian country was marked by the Order of Labor of the third degree. This honorary award was presented by the Vietnamese President Nguyen Min Chieta. The Vietnamese side at the celebrations was attended by NSUEN Hoang KHIM, Vice President of the National Assembly, and Nguyen Hong-Tsuan, Minister of Construction and Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party. For them and for all senior politicians and statesmen, an extensive cultural program was organized. Representatives of the Association of Vietnamese-Cuban friendship also took part in the ceremony. During his speech, the Cuban ambassador to Vietnam emphasized that the people of the island of Freedom as a result of the heroic struggle achieved the victory of the revolution in January 1959. Nowadays, Cuban people heroically fight with difficulties encountered on the path to improving the revolutionary process. He noted that despite the World Economic Crisis and last year’s spontaneous disasters, the Cuban affected, the economy of the island of Freedom increased by 1.4 percent. The Cuban diplomat emphasized that the connections between Vietnam and Cuba were formed in the difficult years of struggle and are a model of friendly and fraternal relations between the two states.
