Quite recently, a new concept burst into the social life of society (and in the vocabulary too), a new impulse called “flashboat”. More than once, even those inhabitants who do not have an idea of what it is.
Even in our advanced age there is not so much information about this mass, I must say, movement. On TV, there is practically no radio or on the Internet. Why it happened? Yes, all because the flash mob is a new phenomenon and, moreover, many people simply do not attach the proper meaning to it, believing that this is nothing more than a whim. There are also those that tend to compare the flash mob with similar inherent phenomena, such as performances and happy.
Nevertheless, the phenomenon of “flash mob” not only exists, it also actively develops. And it was “born”, as already mentioned, quite recently, in 2003. The founder of this movement is considered to be a certain Bill, a resident of the city of New York, who in the designated year, when using available means of communication (email and SMS), collected no more or less, and about 150 people who did not even know until June 17, 2003 each other. It was on this day that they all together visited the Macy’s and “For a suburban commune”, asked for a carpet worth 10 thousand dollars. At one time, television tried to publicize this fact, while it was from this day that the life of the phenomenon “Flashmob” is carried out.
If we talk about the origin of the word itself, then “Flash mob” from English is translated as “instant crowd” or “outbreak of the crowd”, but in German the component word “mob” means rabble and mob.
To date, the Flashmob format spilled far beyond the street and reached office clerks, earned popularity in the advertising and marketing business. It is no longer news that the movement of the flash mob is actively used for PR provisions. But the participants of such joint movements are no longer ordinary inhabitants-true adherents of the phenomenon, but professional promotional specialists. This proves once again that the phenomenon is popular, but from the point of view of society, not well studied well.
A true flash mob can be considered a action that is within the framework of the basic principles of this interesting phenomenon:
– lack of any management;
– surprise, spontaneity;
– lack of hidden goals, including advertising, political and financial;
– a complete refusal to cooperate or communicate with the press and the media;
– Depersonification. This means that absolutely all participants in the action either do not know each other, or they do not advertise it.
Flashmob is a true individuality that helps a person to reject all the prohibitions and prejudices of the environment and makes it possible to truly open up, to express himself, to declare himself! This is especially interesting to do among the same like -minded people who perceive and accept you by any!
