In the Ukrainian state, in most cases, sports simulators, large household appliances (washing machines, refrigerators), “mobile phones”, netbooks, laptops, LED and LCD televisors are buying on credit. Experts talk about the tendency to increase the demand for premium goods, while at the same time the goods of the Economy class are in constant demand.
According to one of the Ukrainian banks, last year, in most cases, televisions, refrigerators, computer equipment were purchased on credit, and at the end of the five most beloved goods on credit were mobile phones, washing machines and sports simulators for the house.
By the way, sellers and manufacturers of computer equipment say: this year, the volume of lending to such goods will be revived. According to Anatoly Balyuk, the head of the board of Diawest, the level of acquisitions on credit of computer technology has increased when compared with the year before last. At the beginning of this year, it is about 10% of the total sales of this company. According to the expert, if, before the crisis period in the company’s networks, about half the equipment was sold on credit, and during the recession, respectively, sales on credit decreased actually to zero, then today it is about 10% of all sales.
