The monument to Lenin will be removed from the main square of the town

In the Vitebsk region in the city of Gorodok, local authorities decided to reconstruct the square. This decision was made due to the fact that in 2018 the Dazhynkin festival will be held in the city. Money for reconstruction in the amount of six and a half billion rubles has already been allocated from the regional budget. A mass of video cameras will be installed on the main area. Asphalt will be removed on the square and a beautiful red tile is laid. The center will find a place for a portable scene, in the event of city events. They will also find a place for the New Year tree – Christmas trees. Unfortunately, it will not do without loss. It is necessary to remove the monument to Lenin. But the monument of everything – only will be rearranged to another place. Presumably, the monument will stand near the building of the Children’s School of Arts. Vorovsky Street is waiting for changes – it will become a pedestrian zone. Parking will be built on Krasnoarmeyskaya, where tourists and citizens will be able to put their cars. The city will be landscaped and decorated with a variety of ways. Most of all, this applies to the zone near the local history museum, restaurant and mail. Shops will be set. The registry office building will not be left without attention. There will be installed an “invitation site”, which will not leave the newlyweds indifferent. And instead of an obsolete cinema, a cultural center for the whole family will be built. The center of the town will be decorated with small architectural works of art, the facades of stores and other buildings will be updated. Also, the local authorities are the restoration of the bust of Nikolai Korzhenevsky, the replacement of metal tablets with the names of fallen heroes. All paths of the tracks will be highlighted with cute lanterns that will blink at night. These changes are waiting for the city of the town of Vitebsk region.
