The personal characteristics of the rural population are norms, values, needs, preferences, expectations, plans and motivation. In relation to the urbanization stage of the development of the village, the totality of these phenomena of consciousness in sociology was indicated by the concept of “rural subculture” or “rural traditional culture”. Public, group and personal consciousness is one of the most powerful mechanisms of lifestyle. It is on the systems of values ​​that the stereotypes of behavior depend to the greatest extent: the stability of values ​​contributes to the reproduction of the accepted lifestyle, their dynamics leads to a change in the existing stereotypes and the formation of new behaviors. Therefore, without taking into account the value aspects, the study of lifestyle remains incomplete and insufficiently deep. To take into account the role of value factors, it is necessary to clearly define their place in the lifestyle system. In the literature, such an interpretation is often found when values, norms, needs, etc. P. are included in the lifestyle. The epistemological basis for the inclusion of the phenomena of consciousness in the composition of the lifestyle is the indisputable fact of the dependence of the latter on the first, which, however, does not give grounds for their identification.
