Referring to Wikileaks recently published by the WikiLeaks website, the Agency France-Presse news agency reports that the Afghan President Hamid Karzai released criminals who were arrested and transferred to the Afghanistan government of the Western coalition to the Afghanistan government.
In August last year, some officials from the United States complained that since 2007, without even waiting for a court session, one hundred and fifty of the six hundred and twenty -nine suspects previously transferred by the coalition to the Afghan government were released.
So, based on the documents, it follows that American government officials have not once reproached both the Karzai and the general prosecutor himself for this, but they did not want to abandon this practice.
In particular, in April last year, Hamid Karzai signed a decree on the pardon of five Afghan border police officers, previously detained with one hundred and twenty -four kilograms of heroin and sentenced to prison for a period of sixteen to eighteen years old. According to the WikiLeaks published, pardon was signed on the basis that all convicts were the dwelling relatives of some two people who previously, during the civil war in the country, were persecuted.
On November twenty -ninth, the Afghan authorities distributed a message with a statement that stated that the documents previously posted to the masses on the WikiLeaks website would not affect the relations of Afghanistan and the United States. In published secret documents, American officials compare Karzai with paranoid, and his brother is described as a drug lord.
On November eight of this year, the WikiLeaks website began publishing more than two hundred and fifty thousand letters of American diplomatic correspondence, in which, in particular, an unpleasant characteristic given by American diplomats to the leaders of many states is often found.
