The Federal Agency for Tourism discusses, together with insurance companies, as well as with travel agencies themselves a plan for amendments to the legislation of the Russian Federation, which are aimed at improving the interaction of the tour of operators, insurance companies and the Tourism Agency itself. This was reported on Tuesday by Interfax with reference to Evgeny Pisarev, Deputy Head of Rostourism.
Evgeny told the publication that representatives of the tourism agency met on Tuesday with a group of tourists, which suffered from the actions of a travel company entitled “Perfect World”. At this meeting, each participant was assisted in preparing documents to file them in court, to protect the rights of tourists.
Since 2007, there have been registered in the register of travel companies under the name “ideal world” three legal entities, two of them were removed from the register due to the information not provided about financial support. The third legal entity, which served tourists in this scandalous story, extended the contract with the insurance company Rosgosstrakh until September this year, and therefore, was adopted in the register. Pisarevsky also notes that they did not receive a statement that a travel company and an insurance company interact with each other. Now this issue is in the stage of clarification.
If it turns out that the contract provided was forged, the law enforcement agencies will intervene, and if it still turns out to be genuine, it will be clarified how conscientiously the agreements were carried out by the tourist company “Ideal World” and the insurance company Rosgosstrakh.
