Ukraine has fallen a peacekeeping mission

The Ukrainian government did not fulfill its duties, which consisted in sending peacekeepers to the African state of Liberia. It was previously planned in May to send peacekeepers from Ukraine to Liberia. The main forces were to arrive later. Ukraine was going to send 140 peacekeepers to this rotation. In addition, in early spring, Ukraine was waiting for a commission from the UN, whose experts would appreciate the level of training of the contingent. But this invitation on our part was canceled several times and the deadline for their arrival was postponed, since in the building of the General Staff, where the UN members were to place were placed, double -glazed windows were repaired.“The document on sending the contingent of the peacekeeping forces of Ukraine was sent by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to the Presidential Administration in terms of time, but somewhere in this administration he was reliably stuck,” a source of the Ministry of Internal Affairs said.
