Poor children, moreover, are much less likely to complete what they have begun, and also tend to make spontaneous decisions in complex or confusing situations. The head of this study, Dr. Chiraga Mittaly, working at the University of Minnesota, believes, natives from various social groups in specific situations feel and behave in different ways. Accordingly, they have a different reaction to certain circumstances in life. According to the scientist, children whose upbringing takes place in families with low material income for which children’s orthopedic shoes are an incredible waste, do not believe that in the future life can change for the better. In addition, they are sure that complex ups and downs will pursue them throughout their lives. From childhood, they get used to thinking that you should not even strive to change their fate, turn it over. But children from families with higher wealth firmly believe in the doctrine that everyone creates his own life, as well as that there is always a change in circumstances. The study also showed how differently people behave from different social groups in difficult situations. Poor children were much more impulsive than their wealthy peers. The latter – much more resilient, they never give up. More than 70 students from higher educational institutions, whose average age was 20 years, participated in the experiment.
