The authorized person to resolve issues of protecting the rights of private entrepreneurs in the Russian Federation, Boris Titov, is going to deal with all the cases when IKEA, one of the largest Swedish furniture production companies, did not issue permission to open branded stores. In an interview with this newspaper Kommersant, Boris Titov said that they are already engaged in solving the problem with IKEA and will try to figure it out in the near future. Back in 2009, IKEA management raised the question of suspension of the investment program in Russia, due to administrative barriers in some regions that were expressed in the refusal of issuing permission to open the IKEA branded store. As they say, this is not a roll on the market to buy. Boris Titov, in an interview with the Delovaya Russia newspaper, said that the possibility of introducing the so -called Mexican reservation has already been discussed: if, after an appeal within a month, there is no answer from the state agency issuing permits, then the issue is considered solved in favor of the petitioner. Boris Titov promises that, as an authorized person, he will help legislatively and separately deal with each similar case, establish the reason why in one or another situation the permission was denied. Also, it will directly deal with the regional leadership, and demand a review of the decision made. Vladimir Putin, the President of the Russian Federation, previously stated that the maintenance of the authorized person will be both domestic private entrepreneurs and foreign. According to the president, the responsibility of the new legal institution will include defending the interests of the business in court, by decision of the court to suspend departmental regulations and apply to the court for permission to temporarily remove officials from work.
